“Adidas acknowledges and adheres to the principles of diversity.”
Sportswear company Adidas recently added a clause into it’s contracts stating that it won’t drop them if they publicly come out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.
The contact clause reads “Adidas acknowledges and adheres to the principles of diversity, as this is a central part of the Adidas group philosophy. Therefore Adidas warrants that this agreement will neither be terminated nor modified in case the athlete comes out to the public as a member of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community.”

Boston Pride Week opened up with the Flag Raising Ceremony on June 5th and Pride Day at Faneuil Hall on June 6th. It closes out this weekend (June 13th and 14th) and we’ve got a couple of great events in store.
